they tell you it …
they tell you it will all be ok, but it never gets better finally after trying to get them to let you see your surgeon for 4 months to discuss your problems you move on to other docs to try to get answers. LasikMD and Keon Nia are ripping people of and ruining their lives – medical ethics do not exist with these folks.

basically they the …
basically they the LasikMD staff tell you not to worry and that their equipment is so good that nothing will go wrong – then the dr. comes in does the surgery, you are only with him for maybe 5-10 minutes, then you come back the next day and your eyes hurt and your vision sucks but they won’t let you see the doc.

Say no to LASIK. If it goes bad, and it can, you are screwed. Big time. Mine went bad. Worse decision I have ever made in my life.

@speedstakerguy …
@speedstakerguy there’s a lot more people with lasik problems then you think, nobody gets a completely perfect result and many get a really bad result like me. This procedure needs to be banned in my opinion.

@speedstakerguy the …
@speedstakerguy the tool that they use to cut open the cornea before the laser can do the reshaping is metal and it leaves metal particulate behind everytime it is used. My current opthamologist told me that lasik done with a blade will always leave some metal particulate in the eye. All laser lasik will also result in some particulate matter being left in the eye, just not the metal particulate. Lasik is note safe, glasses and contact lenses are safe.

Jake… let’s put …
Jake… let’s put it this way. We were a group of 4 friends who did this surgery together. From a scale of 0 to 10, all of them gave it a “0″ grade for pain. I am the only one that gave it a “1″ grade, only when the docter attached a ring on my eyeball for the C-cut. It was not pain… just a “uncomfortable feeling”… like when a fat baby sits on your toes. That’s it! With the anaesthetic drops… you feel nothing!

They told me they …
They told me they will be using a laser to cut the flap and then the laser for the mainpart of the surgery. Is it discomforting when they put the thing over your eye and hold it open ? What is the pain level, I know they give allot of volume and anasetitic but just wanna know as much as possible before i get it done.

Jake, I did this on …
Jake, I did this on July 14, 2009. First of all, I hated the notion of touching my eyes. That’’s why I never used Contact Lenses…. I can not stand the fact that you’ll be touching the eyes directly. But the Lasik went well. About 15 minuted before the procedure, they put 2 different kind of drops in your eyes, and that’s it. On the surgery bed, they will again put more powerfull drops in your eyes, Now they dont use the blade cutter anymore, but a more precise mechanical C-cutter.

My glasses were – …
My glasses were -3.50 and my vision was a terrible 20/200. I flew to Medellin (Colombia), and only paid US$ 650 at their top clinic, with a newer Lasik Machine. The procedure was done in 4 minutes for each eye (My total time was 11 minutes on the bed). And now? I have 20/15 vision which is BETTER than 20/20. Of course, when you reach 40 years old… your eyes will naturally begin to lose strength. After 10 years you should check your vision again….
